@@matts2208 In War Thunder, it's not effectively much different from the Leopard 2A7V in the German tech tree, but in the real world it's based on the improved 2A7+ if I remember correctly.
Ive always had trouble penetrating MBT's with the DM33 at top tier with this premium, particularly frontally. I feel like the tradeoff of less spalling isnt so bad for the KE-W. Ive gotten decent kills with the KE-W.
Its a scam…they advertise this tank in the dev blog as having composite armour package installed which will provide similar protection to the ones found on 2a7 series tanks….but in game the armour package performs nowhere near to the 2a7 armour package also they silently removed the line stating about the armour from the dev blog too…so its basically just a leo 2a4 a 10.3 vehicle at 11.3 fighting 11.7 just cuz u have good thermals and a better round than dm33
You should do the Leopard 2A7HU once you get it. It's good to finally see a good MBT in the Italian tech tree!

You should only bring 16 rounds of ammo in any leo 2 variant. anything above 16 ie 20 fills your hull ammo storage ie why you died a couple times
Try using the dm33 instead of the kew. It spalls way more. You get less pen but the spalling is so much better

Nope, it's a Leo 2a4 at 11.3 with a round that barely has any post pen damage. Get the 2a4 old premium if u want to have usable armor
